Preventing Child Abuse....Serving Georgia

The POWER of Prevention

The key word in Child Abuse Prevention is Prevention.

In Georgia, over 25,000 children are abused each year and approximately 5 children die from abuse each month. One child is way too many.

Georgia presently has three Exchange Child Abuse Prevention Centers; one is in
Rome, one in Albany and the other is located in Statesboro. Georgia needs more centers to meet the needs of the State of Georgia. The non-profit Foundation recently formed in Macon, Georgia is raising funds and collaborating with local agencies to form a center in central Georgia.

The Georgia Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Inc., is a non-profit with 501c3 status. All contributions by way of donations, gifts, grants, etc., are completely tax deductible
